An auto-reply failure ended up on AdWeek.com in 2011 when someone's out-of-office message was hijacked to spread a hashtag. In 2013, the president of Argentina made a speech where she replaced 'r' sounds with 'l' sounds, making it seem like she had a Chinese accent and said words like "lice" and "petloleum" instead of "rice" and "petroleum". The incident was reported on by CNN.
