9. About the internship
This is a full-time internship on a pro-bono basis. Therefore, interns will be required to spend at least 40-50
hours per week on any one project of their choice. Interns should be willing to travel locally across
Bangalore and work on the ground. Although subject matter expertise is not mandatory, we insist that
interns have willingness to learn, passion to work and enthusiasm for work in the social space. Interns
will need to keep an open mind to work at different levels, right from engaging in ground zero activities
to working with higher authorities and interactions with subject matter experts.
During the first week, we will accompany you on the field and help you get started, as part of your induction.
You will be given clear deliverables and documentation of your work will be expected. You will receive a
letter of appreciation from The Forward Foundation on successfully completing the internship.
