Keep people continually informed. Also, to make them feel part of, and excited
about the program.
Develop relationships prior to, during and after the season to reduce drop out
rates and increase return rates. Increase volunteerism.
Gain exposure by offering quality, relevant, content that is useful & share worthy.
Provide a place for real time feedback that makes people feel heard.* (Dominos

Prove guidance and information for first time players and parents in easily
digestible portions.
Create needed revenue for the teams, scholarships and special programs.

4. 2 Types of Growth
Deep:
How loyal your followers, friends and fans are + How much they value
your relationship + How often then converse with you = How likely they
are to obey a call to action. Depth should be maintained and increased.
Wide:
How far your message reaches depends on how many people are in
your collective social circles. This should constantly grow, but it doesnt
happen quickly. Growing your circles of influence is a marathon, not a
sprint.
The winner:
Its a tie. A brand needs both directions of growth to succeed in
reaching their goals.

Grow our Facebook page following.
Increase Twitter Followers
Build out our YouTube Channel
Use Instagram to create a new social
circle
Create Pinterest boards that are
relevant to our brand and our values.
Post our content to Google Plus so that
it can be indexed.

You: Share the content that is posted on our page with your own
friends.
You: Respond to posts that are on our page. Liking is not enough to
help us gain weight.
You: Invite people who live in this area and you have a relationship
with, to subscribe to our updates and Like our page.
All: Offer ideas on how to keep the page fresh and fun.
All: Know the Terms of Service and respect them.
Us: Being consistent with how often we post and offering quality,
relevant content.
Us: Monthly paid promotions and Ads that reach a larger target
audience.
Us: Tracking analytics to figure out what works and what doesnt.
7. Ways To Grow On Twitter
About Twitter:
140 Characters aka: Micro Blogging
Easily digestible snippets of info and conversation
Easy to track results using a hashtag (ex: #AYSO462)
The How:
You: Tweet to our account using @AYSO462 @AYSO462
All: Include our hashtag in relevant tweets
You: Recommend us to other people on Twitter who may want
information from us or are relevant to youth sports, soccer,
parenting etc
Us: Host a monthly Twitter chat featuring board members, refs,
coaches etc to grow our presence. You: Attend.
Us: Twitter Ads (Possibly in the future.)
Us: Provide consistent, quality content and resource links to our
followers.
Us: Be available to answer questions and respond as needed.
Us: Use Hashtracking to access our growth, successes and
failures.

About G+: Make the button red

Indexes all publicly shared content and helps your Search Engine ranking
Allows recordable video Hangouts, communities, event invitations
Works now with YouTube to record and archive Hangouts
Great searchability
Provides a section for local businesses, including maps, special offers, reviews,
check ins and it tracks the places where the user has been (Geo Tracking.)
The How:
Us: Post all content (especially evergreen) from website, YouTube, FB, Instagram to
the public stream.
Us: Host a monthly Hangout via YouTube and create invite for G+ circles or the
public.
You: Tell people about the Hangouts and attend.
All: Tag all photos with location and key words. #AYSO462 #Jurupa
Us: Host our weekly photo contest on FB and G+
You: Plus 1 any content you see from us and/ or repost it to your own stream.

About both:
Instagram- App that allows users to instantly upload, edit, tag and share
photos with the public and/or their followers.
Pinterest: App and website that allows users to create pins and themed
boards of photos with tags, links and prices (when relevant.) Boards can be
private or public, can be individual or group curated.
*Pinterest has quickly become a main traffic source for many bloggers and
websites.
The How:
All: Take photos at practices, events, meetings and games using the official
account.
Us: Create a fun photo meme for our region! *See Grumpy Cat
You: Tag your own relevant photos on Instagram with #AYSO462 and @AYSO462
All: Create and join a group board on Pinterest for relevant categories such as :
Fall Season 2013, Soccer Drills, Healthy Eating, Soccer Gear, Inspirational Players
etc
Us: Hold Pin It To Win It campaigns for soccer gear and registration fee discounts
(possibly in the future.)
You: Repin our content to your own relevant boards.
You: Follow us and tell others about us.
Us: Track our growth. Continue to create new ways to use these tools that respect

About YouTube:
User generated video content that can be branded, edited, monetized and
shared.
2nd most utilized search engine in the world.
The How:
Us: Create informative and/or fun how to videos, interviews, game footage, drill
tutorials, etc on our channel
All: Comment on and share the videos on FB, Twitter, Email, website, etc
All: Encourage families to send in their best footage of games to create
montages featuring their kids as the stars (without names, of course.)
Us: Keep videos 3-5 minutes in length, use
relevant key words that have high searches and
low competition on the video descriptions and
tags.
You: Encourage others to subscribe to our channel.
Us: Link to other relevant channels and videos that
offer quality content that aligns with our values.
Us: Track and analyze our growth.
Us: Use in conjunction with G+ for Hangouts.
Us: Monetize videos to earn revenue for
scholarships, VIP program etc {Over 800 million people make
time for this, every month}
