The social media training session was split into two hours. In the first hour, presenters introduced themselves and the class format. They discussed the most important current social media tools. In the second hour, they continued explaining key social media and had attendees create accounts and send their first tweets or Facebook updates. Feedback was gathered through an online survey. Resources for various social media sites were also provided.
