3. The State of the Art
(because what we do is an art)
19. Access
Not posting, not writing, not making
accounts, this is just about a person.
Who do we give the keys to?
Who maintains the passwords?
Who is the person that logs in?
Where can they log in?
Is access granted differently for
different accounts?
20. Authorization
This one isnt about a
person, but an account.
What service do we
want to be on?
Why?
Who approves the
new account?
What is their criteria
for deciding?
Are there
opportunities for
reviewing
authorization?
What are those
criteria?
21. Approvals
This is where the rubber meets the
road. Youve got your person, youve
got your account, now what can you
say?
What is the process?
Who is the final decider?
Is it yes/no or can changes be
recommended/required?
What about mistakes?
What about sharing others content
(like retweets)?
Are there differences in scenarios
(day-to-day vs emergency)?
