Mr. Deepak S. Sawant worked for Cinecita Pvt. Ltd. from 1996 to 2000 where he oversaw Sony Dynamic Digital Sound Format (SDDS) installations in Mumbai. He received specialized training from principals and consultants to support SDDS installations. During this time, Mr. Narsimhan visited Mumbai at the request of Mr. Sawant's director during the first SDDS installation in Mumbai. DTS sound format was later introduced in India by Real Image Pvt. Ltd., and Cinecita provided projector service support for their calibrations at FTII in Pune.
