Irene and Macarena are enjoying their trip to South Africa. They have visited several major cities including Pretoria, Bloemfontein, and Cape Town. Currently in Johannesburg, they are dining at a restaurant and thinking of Blanca and Alba while enjoying local dishes. South Africa has offered beautiful sights like colorful flowers, diamond shops, and vast beaches. On their trip so far, they have gone sightseeing in a national park, toured a cathedral and diamond museum. Irene and Macarena are excited to share more about their South African adventure in future messages.

- 1. OUR TRIP TO SOUTH AFRICA
- 2. Hi Blanca and Alba: How are you? We are here in South Africa. Here everything is perfect; it is an amazing country, we have been in great cities like: Pretoria(Where we went to see the university), Bloemfortein, Cape Town.
- 3. Now we are in Johannesburg and we are having a great time. Wew are sitting in a restaurant, having a bobotie and a milktert and thiking about you!!!
- 4. There are some wonderful diamond shops, some colorful flowers that we have never seen before and enormous beaches.
- 5. Yesterday we did some sightseeing and we went to the National Park. We went also to see the cathedral of S.t George and the diamond museum.
- 6. We stayed in a hotel next to an enormous beach. In the hotel we have danced African dances, they are ver y dificult.
- 7. The weather here is very good, but it is too hot. This morning we did some shopping. I bought some key-rings for you.
