The hogan is a traditional Navajo home with six sides made of poles and adobe. It has little rainfall, hot days and cold nights. People who live in hogans stay in the same home and do not travel often, growing crops like corn, beans, pumpkins and squash in the surrounding desert, canyon and mesa landscape.

- 7. ï‚ž The clothes that they wore were made out of wool, and animal skin. They also wore. head-wraps, animal skin, capes over a woven shirt, and skin leggings .The way the climate effected their clothes was that they had to wear airy clothes because, it was so hot and dry.
