Spongebob is a yellow sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea. He works at the Krusty Krab restaurant with Squidward and tries to get his boating license. He spends his time catching jellyfish with Patrick and thinking about work, jellyfish, and his friend Patrick. Spongebob is known for saying phrases like "I'm ready!" and "Holy Neptune!" and is liked by everyone in Bikini Bottom except Squidward.
