“The sprint is a five-day process for answering critical business questions through
design, prototyping, and testing ideas with customers” gv.com
The Sprint process was originally developed to test ideas with start-ups Google
Ventures had invested in.
Sprints are especially useful when there is something at stake (a big challenge), you
have little time available (a tight deadline), and/or you’re just plain stuck and need to
rejuvenate your project.

“How” guides people to believe the answer is out there.
“Might” lets people know that their HMW statement might work or might not, and it’s okay either way.
“We” reminds people that the sprint is about teamwork and building on each others’ ideas.

The four-step sketch methode

1. Lightning Demos
● come up with a list of products to review for inspiring solutions.
● One at a time, the person who suggested each product gives a
tour—showing the whole team what’s so cool about it. It’s a good idea to
keep a timer going for approx 3 minutes.
● Remember the “Always be capturing” mantra and take notes on the
whiteboard as you go.

Crazy 8s is an exercise to rapidly sketch eight
variations of an idea in eight minutes
8 variations in 8 mins = Crazy 8.
