ï‚· Forward Mounted Base Project for QP: Forward Mounted Base Platforms (FMBs) which
consists of 2 No’s of jackets, Boat landing structures, interconnecting bridge and associated piles
totaling 8,500 MT, including Load-Out, sea fastening and Topsides Installation support (3 Million M-Hr).
ï‚· Lift Boat (Al Safliya) for Gulf Drilling International (GDI): The 6500 MT ORCA 2500 class
liftboat is equipped with four tubular legs, a unique 200-ton leg encircling crane and a 50-ton pedestal
crane, a large open deck space of around 8,611 square feet (800 square meters), a helideck, and
accommodation capacity for 130 persons (4.8 Million M-Hr).
 Mud Tanks for Saipem’s Land rigs: The project involves fabrication, pre-assembly and delivery
of 5 set’s mud tank units (1,200T) for DrillMec S.p.A (Italy) for their end clients SAIPEM (Saudi) and Iraq
Drilling Company.
ï‚· Leg Extension for Rig V-351: Leg erection, system commissioning and drilling equipment for
previously constructed the Letourneau 116E designed jack up rig V351. A total of 1,800T of installation
work, 70m on each of the 3 legs has being carried out in stages.
ï‚· Fabrication of Piles of Barzan Gas Project: Fabrication of two sets of offshore structural steel
piles (700MT) each measuring 118m with a diameter of 2.2m, as well as upper and bottom pile guides
(100MT) including loading out and sea-fastening for Hyundai (First Offshore Project for NKOM).
Piping Engineer, Oct’ 2010 – Dec’ 2013

ï‚· Assigned responsibility to develop state-of-the-art pipe work facility with capital expenditure (CAPEX)
exceeding US$ 50 Million. Based on the facility dimensions, the work flow production lines were
designed for achieving high productivity with optimum use of resources.
ï‚· Developed highly competent welding team who are nurtured to produce zero defects in non-ferrous
alloys and convinced the management to provide skill retention allowances to motivate the workers.
ï‚· Conducted several in-house trainings to educate the work force and contractors on the methods to be
adopted to achieve high productivity through defect free welding and elimination of re-work. Achieved
less than 1% repair rate and set benchmark in the company.
ï‚· Possess in-depth knowledge in fabrication of CuNi, SS, Duplex, Super duplex, GRE piping and double
walled piping for High Pressure fuel gas lines.
 Enforce SOP’s, permit to work system & Risk Assessments prior commencing of daily activities.
 Managing Prefabrication and installation activities carried out by subordinates and contractors’,
ensuring the scope of work is achieved in accordance with contract requirements with in schedule and
budget, and in compliance with specifications / standards.
ï‚· Allocation of manpower, material and equipment for achieving daily plan for various projects in yard
based on department targets in line with project schedules.
ï‚· Verifying test packs and pre-commissioning plans and procedures in accordance with project
specifications and industry standards.
 Ensure the productivity and quality of the fabricated spools is in line with department KPI’s.
 Managed world’s first ME-GI conversion project i.e. use of LNG as a fuel for slow speed Diesel
engines by complex retro-fitting of ME Type Gas Injection (ME-GI) on the Q-Max vessel Rasheeda,
which includes fabrication of dual wall duplex pipes for fuel gas transfer to the main engine.
