Case Study 1
Approached to identify suitable candidates for a
critical Senior GIS Manager position with the re-
quirement for the appointment of a UAE National
into the position.
Utilising our detailed knowledge of the different
organisations have played in the development
of GIS, data man-agement and remote sensing
across the UAE, SRS undertook a thorough head-
hunting exercise to identify po-tential candi-
dates. Following a series of detailed interviews
and practical assessments, a preferred candidate
was selected with SRS then assisting through the
offer, security clearance and transition processes.
Case Study 1
In September 2016 SRS were contacted by a long-
standing client who was keen to hire a new sen-
ior member of staff to grow their MENA activities
outside of their traditional core markets of the
UAE and Qatar.
The company specialise in the provision of Envi-
ronmental Consultancy services ranging includ-
ing ESHIAs, to Environmental Due Diligence,
Waste Management Planning and Air Qual-
ity Emission Inventories for a range of industrial,
O&G and manufacturing clients.

being solely championed by environmental sci-
entists concerned about the effects of global
warming. With a growing body of case studies
proving the ability to be cost competitive with
conventional power generation technologies the
renewable energy industries is enjoying unprec-
edented growth.
IRENA now estimates that the renewable energy
industry employs 8.1 million people around the
world (excluding large hydropower), which in-

8. With a large pipeline of projects in developing countries (primarily SE Asia, Latin America) and the
need to balance the evolving technology demands of the C&I sector with the requirements of institu-
tional investors including the IFC and ADB, finding the right balance of personalities & working styles
was critical.

CASE STUDY
Through developing an intimate relationship with
each of the key decision makers & influencers across
the organisation SRS were able to streamline the in-
terview & selection process, saving our client valu-
able time and minimising spend on external consul-
tancy support. SRS have thus far appointed high
calibre staff into Financial Controller, O&M Man-
ager, Senior Design Engineer, Procurement Man-
ager and Legal Counsel positions and we look

10. Our success with facility management recruitment is
evidenced in our partnership with a multi-national
FM service provider awarded provided a complete
soft and hard services contract for a prestigious JV
project Saudi Aramco led JV in KSA. The additional
factor critical to the contract award was the high
level of focus on saudisation across the contract.
SRS were approached by the FM Service Provider
who needed urgent assistance with a large num-
ber of recruits in a short space of time and needed
a partner they could trust to accurately represent
their brand and engage with local Saudi Nationals
to understand the value of working for an interna-
tional private sector business. SRS successfully filled
all 6 of the critical requirements with high calibre
Saudi Nationals - sourced through a combination
of our direct network and our ability to quickly &
effectively pinpoint key headhunting targets. With
a number of the candidates unfamiliar with the HR
practices of international businesses our commit-
ment to long-term success meant we engaged in a
systematic HR education process so each individual
had a thorough understanding of what he was sign-

CASE STUDY
We have provided specialist engineering recruit-
ment support for The Louvre Abu Dhabi,
a new iconic landmark for the UAE skyline. Ap-
pointed by the project design consultant to identify
a senior engineering manager to focus upon lead-
ing the mechanical design duties of this prestigious
project.
Due to the desire to appoint an individual with a
proven track record in international cutting edge
design combined with an understanding of the
demands of the UAEs climate, construction sector
and local culture we undertook an extensive global
search.
Following the extensive selection process a job
offer was put forth and continued to support the
candidate throughout the relocation process from
the US ensuring he was able to arrive in Abu Dhabi
with a managed expectations and the best transi-
tion possible
