- 2. “Once there was a judge in a town. He did not care about God. He also did not care what people thought about him. 他说∶“从前，某城有一位法官，他不 畏惧上帝，也不尊重百姓。
- 3. In that same town there was a woman whose husband had died. She came many times to this judge and said, ‘There is a man who is doing bad things to me.’ 当时，城里有一个寡妇，她常 常到法官那里说∶‘法官，请制裁 我的对头，给我伸张正义吧！’
- 4. But the judge did not want to help the woman. 法官一直没有帮助她。
- 5. The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy!’ 可是，很久以后，他心里想：虽 说我不怕上帝，也不尊重百姓， 可这个寡妇总来打搅我。
- 6. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’” 倒不如我给她伸了冤，免得她没完没了 地打扰我，到最后把我给耗得精疲力 尽。”
- 7. Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people? 然后，主说：“你们注意听这个 不义的法官所说的话。上帝难 道不会给他的选民主持正义吗？
- 8. God’s people shout to him night and day, and he will always give them what is right. He will not be slow to answer them. 我告诉你们，他会迅速为他们伸张正义 的！
