The overall vision of medical education in
faculty of medicine, Al-Azhar University is to
contribute to the main stream of Surgical
education in Egypt within the Islamic culture in
past and present.

At the end of the course the students should able:
•Apply ethical principles to clinical work, such as to
display patience and kindness.
•Avoid frightening of the patients and accept the
unsuitable behavior of infants and children such as:
urination.
•Deal with the patient as a person not as a
disease.

•Sinai group teaching (tutorials)
•A yearly scientific day for students in the form of student’s
presentations. The titles of the subjects are determined
during several meeting with staff.

• These include:
• Lecture halls: In the in the main library building of the El-
Hussein Hospital., equipped with writing movable white
board?, overhead and slide projectors and data show
projector.
• Clinical rounds halls (in the El- Hussein and sayed galal
Hospitals): they are equipped with facilities to perform
the required work.
• Tutorial classes: Held in the lecture halls?.
• Library: In library building of the El- El- Hussein Hospital.
