This research examined under the three-circles model, family-business-ownership; the affectivity and effectiveness of a small family business training services in Merida, Yucatan. The company after a boom, is in a stage of decline, if its continues in this way, undoubtedly will outshine. The research belongs to the mixed field (quantitative and qualitative), it was carried out through the study of a single case of descriptive scope. Müller, Luthe, Mora, Sarjanovich, & Shashida´s an adapted instrument was used. In the findings for the business subsystem there is a need to develop an organizational structure, define business philosophy, making the planning of the company and define a strategic behavior; in the family subsystem is required elaborate family philosophy, ensuring family commitment to the company and encourage the participation the sons and wives; and finally, in the ownership subsystem it is required to make a full valuation of the assets of the company and make an inheritance planning.

PMO - Diseño e ImplementaciónSergio Salimbeni En un ambiente de continuos cambios, las empresas necesitan mantener su competitividad con el fin de liderar su mercado. Debido a ello, es preciso responder rápida y eficientemente a los nuevos desafíos y oportunidades.
Dado que la implementación de proyectos tiene aplicaciones de distinta índole y magnitud, y más aún cuando es el “núcleo” del negocio, es que se propone la implementación de una “Oficina de Gestión de Proyectos”.
La respuesta que se plantea, es la adopción de una gestión de proyectos estandarizada según los conceptos establecidos por el “Project Management Institute” (PMI™). Es por ello que se requiere de una propuesta para la implantación de una Oficina de Gestión de Proyectos, también conocida como Project Management Office (PMO), que constituya una solución sistemática, en primer lugar, para dar soporte efectivo a la organización de proyectos mejorando el desempeño de los equipos de trabajo, y en segundo lugar, para asegurar que los mismos estén alineados con los objetivos de los negocios de la Empresa.
Una oficina de proyectos permitiría introducir mejoras continuas y sustanciales en todo el ámbito de su gestión, con resultados tangibles y mensurables, primero para la empresa, ya que permitiría mejorar sus activos internos incrementando su rentabilidad y fortaleciendo su imagen y competitividad ante terceros, y segundo para el staff de proyectos, quienes recibirían soluciones de soporte que contribuirían a incrementar el desempeño de los gerentes y equipos de proyecto con menor esfuerzo personal.
Cabe destacar también, la ventaja competitiva y el prestigio que ganaría la empresa por el hecho de trabajar bajo estándares del PMI™.
Se propone entonces en esos casos la creación de una PMO, la cual desarrollará las tareas centralizadas de la gestión de proyectos.
Entre sus funciones principales está el soporte administrativo de proyectos, apoyo y capacitación de acuerdo a los estándares internacionales (PMBOK™), y evaluación de desempeño grupal e individual.
Se estima que en un plazo de seis meses, se dispondría de una estandarización básica y procesos definidos, como así también información histórica de desempeño, la cual indicará el grado de avance en las mejoras grupales e individuales.
