A medieval Catalan village called Montblanc was being terrorized by a dragon that was eating all the animals and villagers. To appease the dragon, the people decided each day to offer someone to be eaten. One day, the princess' name was chosen. As she made her way to the cave to meet her fate, a knight named Saint George appeared and killed the dragon by stabbing it in the heart. From the dragon's blood pouring on the ground, roses grew, and Saint George picked the most beautiful one to give to the princess.

5. The whole village was saddened by this,
but she still went to the cave to meet her
fate. On her way to the cave, a knight
called George appeared and killed the
dragon with a fatal stab wound to the
heart.
6. Blood from the dragon's heart
poured onto the ground. Finally,
lots of roses grew from the blood
of the dragon. Saint George
picked the most beautiful one and
gave it to the princess.
