6. In conclusion Campus statewide should be aligning instruction with technology applications to ensure instruction is student-centered, engaging, and curriculum is differentiated. The teacher should serve as a facilitator and mentor to students, providing on-demand access to all appropriate technologies for the 21 st century learner. Katy ISD is seeking to maintain district-wide plans that focus on student success with the support of technology. Through the automated curriculum, technology has now been incorporated and has become an expectation within each lesson created. Recently, Roberta W. Rylander Elementary experienced a retrofit guaranteeing each classroom to be equipped with direct web-based resources, desktops, and SMART Boards. Lastly, campus statewide should make certain that the expectation/standard is to provide a target tech level of progress in each of the leadership, administration, and instructional support categories.
