My presentation at The Rotary Club Amritsar where I was given the opportunity to share my experiences about starting Statusbrew, a global business from a small city in front of the elites of the city. I hope to encourage youth of the city to take more initiatives and start their businesses and contribute to the economy.

Problems
Infra Service Industry Professionalism - Your internet will be installed today (Doesn’t install in 7 days) - Your internet will be back in 15 min (Internet doesn’t work for the whole day) - There is a half day electricity cut (Our area is different! 1 day) - NRE Bank Account for Foreigners (2 months, still haven’t opened) - We don’t rent apartments to Bachelors! - Cat-calling on Girls or Foreign Nationals
Recruitment Getting our first set of team members - Only 2 BOYS ? (Not a safe place, even if our parents live there) - Cool, Amazing Workspace! (But No) - Can my parents come for the interview? (2 interviews are taken) - What is the business? (After 30 minutes of explanation) - I have XYZ skill (on resume) (Never used it, read about XYZ somewhere)
Work Ethics Working with our team initially - I am only 1 hour late! (Event after pointing out > 10 times) - This task will take me 2 days (Doesn’t complete even after 7 days) - (Today) I don’t have that skill! (+1 month) I don’t have that skill! (+2 months) I don’t have that skill! - My task XYZ has been complete (Except the Zth subtask)
Lack of Professionalism Understanding
The approach towards WORK has to change in the society
Solving problems, ourselves ● People are the way they are ● Nothing should stop the business ● Plan forward for the growth
Must! Have! Office! 1 Year project Probably the best workspace in the whole Punjab
