This document provides instructions for a student project to plan and promote a virtual vacation to any U.S. state except Michigan. Students are tasked with choosing a state and creating a promotional piece such as a travel brochure, commercial, or presentation that includes details about transportation to the state, facts about its geography, flag, and history, and recommendations for at least three fun or interesting places to visit along with estimated costs. Additional optional extras include information on natural resources, industries, famous residents, historical events, climate, lodging, dining, and other interesting facts.
