That means starting with cabinets that are built to last by maintaining a product that is easily repairable, designing cabinets that are reusable in multiple applications, and using materials that are recyclable and have low impact on the environment. STEEL CABINETS Steel cabinets contain 96% scrap or recycled steel. Stainless steel cabinets consist of 80% scrap or recycled material. Component-based cabinet design allows for doors, drawers, panels, and hardware to all be reused/repaired/recycled as needed. The powder coat process eliminates the release of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) that are prevalent with other paint methods. LAMINATE/THERMOFOIL COMPONENTS All laminate panels are recyclable and made from 100% pre-consumer recycled wood fiber. Our HPL laminates are GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified速 and GREENGUARD for Children and Schools CertifiedSM. Laminate/Thermofoil provides an array of finish selections that provide low-cost, decorative protection to cabinet fronts and sides.
