Students from Central Academy of Technology and Arts participated in the City of Monroe NC's Storm Water Savers Project by cleaning storm drains and gluing markers on them to educate the public that only rainwater should go down drains. The students wore gloves and used brushes to prepare the drains before carefully applying the new markers. A photo showed the happy group that helped reduce pollution by reminding people that storm drains are not trash receptacles.
