Johnny The Green School Hero Once upon a time there was a little kid named Johnny who was a friend of the nature and a green hero in the school where he studied. He was a hero because this small school was very ugly and dirty and he started to create all kinds of things to make it prettier and cleaner.
But, one day his parents decided to move to a different country, so our little friend was going to be in a new, big and different school.
He was very excited with this idea since he thought that as this school was bigger than the other one, it was going to be very pretty and clean. However, when Johnny got to his new school, this one was very dirty, there was garbage everywhere, the other kids were throwing the garbage outside the bins and they didnt care.
Johnny was really sad watching all the indifference from teachers and students that he sat and started to talk alone saying: Why is that people do not care about the planet?, Dont they know that this is the only one we have to live?, Isnt it better to come out side to recess and breath fresh air and not all this trash?, What is happening to this people?.
And a little voice was heard answering: I know this is very sad, I dont like it either. But what can we do? So Johnny turned and saw a girl who was as sad as him, and he said: I have an idea. The girl said: Im Angie by the way, and I want to help.
So Johnny and Angie started to look for help with their parents and neighbors and they found some big bins and they painted all with different colors and they took them to the school and put them in different places with big signs: ALUMINUM CANS, PLASTIC BOTTLES, ORGANIC TRASH, and TETRA-BRIK. The signs were very funny and the other kids were charmed by them.
Johnny and Angie ran to the cans when they were in recess and they started to teach the other kids the purpose of this bins. By the end of a week, the school was cleaner, the kids enjoyed using the cans and Johnny and Angie were very happy.
Then Johnny started to plan a lot of campaigns in the school to recycle newspapers, and cans and the professors understood that this was a good cause so they started to help Johnny on all his ideas, and Johnny became again the Green Hero of the school.
The last day of the year Johnny sat with Angie outside and they said at the same time: What a nice breath of fresh air! And they both laugh and enjoyed playing with their friends.
