stories start movements.

Grace began to post images of sexual assault survivors holding
posters with quotes from their attackers. Since then thousands of
other survivors have reached out to share their stories and have
Grace take their pictures, or send pictures of their own.

Rex blogged through his last tour in Afghanistan as a way to connect with his
wife over what he was going through. Other deployed and returning soldiers
began to reach out to him, share their stories, connect and heal around the
shared experiences. He used the attention to raise money for buying school
supplies for Afghan children.

鈥淭his small commitment to post the good, bad and ugly was a huge
part of my success. It gave me a place to face the emotional side of
weight loss: I celebrated my losses, cried about my gains and
vented when I felt like whining.鈥� - Angela, lost 70 lbs and inspired
others to join her.

Jennifer鈥檚 husband began to take a picture everyday of his wife鈥檚
struggle with cancer and post them online. His family told him they
didn鈥檛 understand what she was going through until they began to
see the photos. Thousands of others struggling with cancer reached
out to tell him how much the pictures helped and inspired them.
