 Goal is an aim or an objective with a set intention and
  outcome, usually specific, measured, attainable, realistic and
  time-targeted.
 A strategy is a plan of action designed to achieve a particular
  goal.

         KPIs help an organization
    define and measure progress toward
            organizational goals.
Practical rules in designing KPIs
 Decide on outcomes to achieve
 Determine activities most definite in
  leading to your defined outcomes.




   Ensure KPI is a clear, consistent and indefinite measure of that activity
   Decide how you will measure the KPI and report it consistently
   Decide who is accountable to the KPI and its measure
   Set clear targets for your KPs and align incentives to them.
