& Your College Experience
Virtually EVERY college graduate
will be supervising someone at some
point in their career
A noun that officially means, The
person who leads or commands a
group, organization, or country.
An influence relationship that is designed to produce
real changes.
- Clifton and Anderson
Leaders influence their followers
in order to achieve their vision or
enact changes. There are three
qualities that successful leaders
typically possess.
#1
a drive to
execute
Leaders have drive, or motivation, to see
their visions through to the end.
#2
ability
to relate
Leaders make every attempt to relate to
their followers. People will not follow
someone (for long) if they feel the leader
does not care about them.
#3
integrity
Leaders need to lead with integrity and gain the full
trust of their followers. Lose the trust of your
followers, and you will no longer be a leader.
