Mental health has been in the news quite a bit lately. Dozens of U.S. states are currently suing Meta for contributing to the youth mental health crisis by inserting addictive features into their products, while the U.S. Surgeon General is touring the nation to bring awareness to the growing epidemic of loneliness and isolation. The country has endured periods of low national morale, such as in the 1970s when high inflation and the energy crisis worsened public sentiment following the Vietnam War. The current mood, however, feels different. Gallup recently reported that national mental health is at an all-time low, with few bright spots to lift spirits.
To better understand how Americans are feeling and their attitudes towards mental health in general, ThinkNow conducted a nationally representative quantitative survey of 1,500 respondents and found some interesting differences among ethnic, age and gender groups.
Technology
For example, 52% agree that technology and social media have a negative impact on mental health, but when broken out by race, 61% of Whites felt technology had a negative effect, and only 48% of Hispanics thought it did.
While technology has helped us keep in touch with friends and family in faraway places, it appears to have degraded our ability to connect in person. Staying connected online is a double-edged sword since the same news feed that brings us pictures of the grandkids and fluffy kittens also feeds us news about the wars in Israel and Ukraine, the dysfunction in Washington, the latest mass shooting and the climate crisis.
Hispanics may have a built-in defense against the isolation technology breeds, owing to their large, multigenerational households, strong social support systems, and tendency to use social media to stay connected with relatives abroad.
Age and Gender
When asked how individuals rate their mental health, men rate it higher than women by 11 percentage points, and Baby Boomers rank it highest at 83%, saying its good or excellent vs. 57% of Gen Z saying the same.
Gen Z spends the most amount of time on social media, so the notion that social media negatively affects mental health appears to be correlated. Unfortunately, Gen Z is also the generation thats least comfortable discussing mental health concerns with healthcare professionals. Only 40% of them state theyre comfortable discussing their issues with a professional compared to 60% of Millennials and 65% of Boomers.
Race Affects Attitudes
As seen in previous research conducted by ThinkNow, Asian Americans lag other groups when it comes to awareness of mental health issues. Twenty-four percent of Asian Americans believe that having a mental health issue is a sign of weakness compared to the 16% average for all groups. Asians are also considerably less likely to be aware of mental health services in their communities (42% vs. 55%) and most likely to seek out information on social media (51% vs. 35%).

7. CERTIFICATEN
Deze certificering is specifiek voor pleziervaartuigen, cruiseschepen, enz.
En heeft betrekking op de brandwerende eigenschappen van alle bekle-
ding die STRETCH biedt. Voordat deze certificering werd verleend, werd
een reeks ontvlambaarheids-, toxiciteits- en rookproeven uitgevoerd. De
toxiciteitstesten zorgen ervoor dat deze doeken van stretchstof veilig zijn
voor gebruik in alle omgevingen.
De Sanitized-certificering is ontworpen om de antimicrobi谷le en an-
tischimmeleigenschappen van de 705 AB, 495D AB en de 308 T AB
stretchstof te herkennen. Deze doeken worden behandeld met een
product genaamd Sanitized, een fungicide dat is ontworpen om du-
urzame bescherming te bieden tegen de ontwikkeling van schimmels
en bacteri谷n.
Greenguard Gold is een internationale certificering voor indoor pro-
ducten en materialen. Het garandeert dat gecertificeerde producten de
strengere emissiedrempels voor verontreinigende stoffen (vluchtige or-
ganische stoffen - VOS) in de binnenlucht respecteren en daarom geen
invloed kunnen hebben op gevoelige mensen (kinderen, zieken, enz.).
Deze certificering bevestigt dat onze hoezen geen vluchtige organische
stoffen (COV) uitstoten in de binnenlucht, wat veilige producten voor
consumenten garandeert. STRETCH gaat verder dan deze certificering,
waarbij aan een aantal andere normen wordt voldaan (CMR, Breeam,
enz
Deze verplichte markering heeft betrekking op producten die voldoen
aan een strikte reeks normen met betrekking tot gezondheid en veilig-
heid. STRETCH biedt alleen producten aan die deze tests met succes
hebben doorstaan, waardoor ze op de Europese markt kunnen worden
verkocht.
Oeko-Tex Standard 100 is s werelds belangrijkste textielagentschap voor
het toekennen van certificaten voor textielmaterialen op het gebied van
ongewenste componenten. STRETCH biedt alleen bekledingen aan die
dit label dragen en we garanderen dat alles vrij is van kankerverwek-
kende stoffen en andere organische schadelijke dragers. Dit certificaat is
alleen geldig voor de onbeperkte doeken.
8. Het STRETCH plafond en de wand zijn het plafond en wandbekledingssysteem dat zal
worden gebruikt in plaats van de conventionele gipsplaten plafonds, muren of an-
dere valse plafonds en muren. Het gebruik van een STRETCH-plafond geeft u tal van
voordelen, zoals: Snelle en schone installatie, 10 jaar garantie, afwasbaar, ... Ook zijn de
STRETCH-plafonds bruikbaar in alle verschillende soorten ruimtes zoals: priv辿wonin-

16. De STRETCH lichtgevende spanplafonds of spanwanden hebben steeds een specifie-
ke lichtbron nodig, bij het belichten van een lichtgevende wand of plafond gaan we
werken met een LED lichtbron die word voorzien van een specifiek ontworpen opti-
sche lens die voor een lichtspreiding zorgt. Deze lichtverspeiding is verschillend naar
gelang we de belichting gaan uitvoeren, zo kunnen we een lichtgevende spanwand
of spanplafond op 2 manieren belichten, langs de achterliggende zeide direct naar
ons STRETCH doek gericht of langs de zijkanten. Om voor zo een efficient mogelijke

18. De STRETCH antibacteri谷le bekleding is de perfecte bekleding voor gebruik in ziek-
enhuizen en andere medische instellingen, met als belangrijkste vereiste het beperk-
en van de verspreiding van microben terwijl het een stijlvolle oplossing biedt. Onze
antibacteri谷le bekleding heeft een A + -certificering en Oeko-Tex-etikettering, wat een

22. Met de STRETCH Frames heb je niet langer meerdere dagen nodig om je pop-up store
of beursstand af te werken, met onze modulaire frames kun je al je benodigde frames
in het magazijn maken en ze in 1,2,3 samenstellen tijdens de bouw. Ons systeem is
eenvoudig, snel en flexibel, het is een volledig recicleerbare modulaire-oplossing op
basis van een aluminiumstructuur die kan worden afgewerkt door gebruik te maken
van onze clip-in opspanprofielen en daarin onze STRETCH-doeken op te spannen.
STRETCH FRAMES
De STRETCH-frameoplossing is op veel verschillende manieren bruikbaar, de mo-
gelijkheden zijn talloos: beursstanden, pop-upinterieurs, akoestische wandpanelen,
akoestische plafondpanelen, lichtpanelen met of zonder een print, enz. Het is zelfs
mogelijk om speciale lichtarmaturen te maken volledig volgens de vraag en het de-
sign van de klant, 90 procent van de profielen in de catalogus van STRETCH zijn zelfs
buigbaar, op deze manier is het mogelijk om elke gewenste vorm te maken.
