Program Objectives
• Create a positive lacrosse experience and environment
for every player

• Focus on building strong individual skills and a
complete understanding of all aspects of the game of
lacrosse

• Reinforce philosophies of US Lacrosse;
    • Sportsmanship, fair play, respect

• Build the sport of lacrosse within the city of Strongsville
and surrounding cities

• Compete with the best NE Ohio programs

• Operate as ONE – 3rd grade through HS program

Strongsville Participation

• US Lacrosse Membership is mandatory

• Member of Northcoast Chapter with 40 other
youth/MS organizations – 2 other chapters in Ohio

• $25 player membership funds national
organization, provides insurance to each player,
and subscription to magazine

membership benefits and access to a variety of
information and educational resources

Schedule Summary
3rd/4th Key Dates

• 6-week indoor session begins on February 9 th
    • 11:30 – 1:00pm at Royalton Fieldhouse
    • Cost is $125 per player

• Outdoor practices begin weather permitting at
Darice Warehouse Field (Foltz and Prospect)

• Games begin on 3/21 (Green) or 4/6 (White)

• 4/20 – Medina Baggataway

• 4/27 – 4th Grade Olentangy (Columbus) Festival

• 5/25 – Mentor Tournament
Registration Details
• All Registration must be done on-line at
www.strongsvillelacrosse.com

• Costs: $125 Indoor, $150 outdoor

• US Lacrosse membership must be completed prior to
Strongsville Lax registration

• Please provide cell phone number so that we can text you
with practice and game updates or changes
Equipment
• Helmets
    • Same color
    • Cascade – we get group discounts from Midwest
    • @ $90 per helmet

• Shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, cup

• Short stick for all players

• Practice pinnie, game jersey and shorts provided
    • Game uniforms must be turned in at the end of year
Player and Parent Conduct
• WE are ALL representatives of Strongsville Lacrosse

• Rules to Live By:
    • Players Play
    • Coaches Coach
    • Referees Ref
    • Parents Cheer

• Harassing and yelling at referees will NOT be tolerated!
