I would love certain things to happen not justto the world but also to me. Some of these things I know will not
happen in my lifetime but I would love to know that things are getting better and I have made a contribution to
that.
I would love to do a worthwhile job or hobby which will help the local community or a worldwideissue. It would
pleaseme greatly if I knew that what I was doingwould help someone or something. Many people aresuffering
from cancer all around the world and I would love itif someone could find a vaccinewhich could vaccinatepeople
for all thedifferent types of cancer.I know people that have suffered from cancer and know that itis not a
pleasantdiseaseto have to cope with 24:7. A world without cancer would certainly help many people.
I really enjoy the sports that I take part in,in and around school.Netball is my favourite sportand I play it2 -4 times
a week. In 2008-2009 I won a netball leaguewith the team I play with outsideof school.Itwas a real achievement.
I would, somehow, liketo continue with this sportthat I love so much as I get older. The netball atthe recent
commonwealth games was inspirational.I also loveathletics and would loveto continuewith it.I love watching
the Olympics when itis on. The talent that the athletes show is amazing.I often wish that I could run that fastor
be that flexiblewhen I see them on TV. When I see the men and women do the high jump, which I really enjoy,I
can see how much effort they have put in and how hard it is even though they make it look so easy. I do not swim
regularly butEleanor Simmonds really inspires meto give everything a go and to take things as they come. At the
age of 13 it amazes me how she can be so mature and inspirational to many who see her. She also won the young
sports personality of the year in 2008. It makes me want to achievemany great things even though I am only 12.
