This document describes a GSM-based electronic notice board display system. The system allows an administrator to send notices and update student information via SMS from a PC or mobile phone. When an update is made, a confirmation SMS is sent to the administrator and a message is displayed on the LCD notice board. Students can also send an SMS to receive notices and information like timetables, marks, or holidays. The system uses an ARM7 microcontroller, GSM module, LCD display, RS-232 interface, and power supply. It has applications for educational institutions to easily communicate information to students and parents through SMS.
