- 1. Kindergarten Photographers Capture Onset of Wind Storm Students in Mrs. Stryker’s class captured these cloud photos around noon on March 8, 2017. We knew that the weather forecast predicted very high winds for that evening and noticed how large the clouds were and how fast they were moving. However, none of us realized that we were watching the start of a Record Wind Storm that would close schools for two days due to power outages and streets covered with downed trees.
