II. SYNOPSIS
This course is designed to assist students to develop skills in identifying client’s needs in the
aspects of knowledge and skills of disease and treatment. On the basis of client’s needs,
students are expected to plan, implement and evaluate a teaching session, to meet those
needs. To enable them to educate the in patient, students will be exposed to the philosophy
and eduational technology which include technique of learning and assessment. Practical
aspect will emphasize the application of educational technology in teaching learning session
with clients in appropriate situation, and preparing a patient education package.

None
III. LEARNING OUTCOME
At the end of this module, students will be able to:
1. differentiate between patient education and health education.
2. explain relevant concept and principles of teaching and learning concept.
