Study Hall Rules If you are in this room, you must watch these and then take a quiz at the end.
You should be quiet in Study Hall. Whether you have work to do or not, other students are working and need you to be respectfully quiet.
No eating in the library. We have a serious ant problem here in the library. Please throw your candy trash away and NO EATING IN THE LIBRARY. Drinks are fine as long as you have a lid on them.
If you leave this room, you must have a pass. I am responsible for you and will be held accountable by administration for your whereabouts. This means I need to know where you are at all times. This ALSO means that you need to check with me before leaving the room. You may not leave the room without permission. Please ask for a pass. If Mrs. Castro is unavailable, ask Mrs. Macfarlane.
If you are NOT on my roll, you should not be in Study Hall. Study Hall is not a hang out for you to be with friends that are not in Study Hall. If you are Early Dismissal, you must leave campus or have a pass to be in the library.
VLA Students must be working on VLA work. Parents are paying tuition for their children to be learning. If you are taking an online class, even if you worked on it at home, you should be working on your class during Study Hall.
Computers and iPads are for academic work. Sign out a computer or an iPad for academic work only. Please do not be surprised if we ask for a computer or iPad back if it is not being used appropriately.
Study Hall is over when Mrs. Castro dismisses you. You may not leave until the class is over. Mrs. Castro has an alarm set that will let you know when class is over. Please do not leave until she says it is okay to leave.
