The most important factors for success in middle school science this year are proper hydration, nutrition, sleep, attendance, and attitude according to a list provided. Staying hydrated through drinking water, getting enough sleep which is important for brain function and growth, having a positive attitude, and regularly attending and actively participating in class were identified as the top five most significant factors. Other factors that can also promote success include daily review of materials, organization, exercise, using mnemonics to remember information, and effective study strategies tailored to the individual student.
