Tecnológico de Monterrey:
Julio Beleki
 Came after a family trip to Las
Vegas.
 His idea came from a machine
that prepared donuts he saw.
 He created a business plan with
support of acaemics.
 His idea was to create a system of
kiosks with a standard corporate
image.
 He went to Walmart in order
to be placed in one of its shops
a selling point.
 The outcome at first, came
negative, but he didn’t give up his
attempt.
 After 6 months of fruitless efforts,
he atended with his father and
placed a Kiosk in Tláhuac under
the name of “Ding Dong Donuts”
 In 1999 they changed the name of
the Brand because that name
was recorded by Gamesa
 Walmart chain ended relationships
with small companies where within
their stores.
 The entrepreneur admitted after this
experience helped redefine the image
and restructure how to market their
products
 He found a new offer in the
Carrefour chain.
 Initially it was difficult for even
studied the degree.
 Beleki granted the first franchise in
2003 and, the following year, had
already received 100 applications
from interested investors.
 Currently, Diaz Romero considers
the internationalization of the
company, but now the challenge is
even greater, as the market begins to
show a tendency towards products
associated with nutritional health
 With the support of his family, he
focused his efforts on developing
some "commercial locks" that would
allow protected preserve the concept
and brand identity.
