Intussusception is a medical condition in which a part of the intestine folds into the section immediately ahead of it. It typically involves the small bowel and less commonly the large bowel. this case is a discussion of intussusception in a pup and it's surgical correction.

- 5. PRE-OPERATIVE MEDICATION Normal saline Ringer lactate Ceftriaxone @ 25mg/kg i/m Meloxicam @0.2mg/kg s/c ANAESTHESIA Acepromazine @ 0.05mg/kg i/m + Butorphanol @ 0.4mg/kg i/v Midazolam @ 0.2mg/kg + Ketamine @5mg/kg as i/v to effect Isoflurane maintenance

- 9. POST-OPERATIVE CARE MEDICATION Ceftriaxone @ 25mg/kg i/v Meloxicam @ 0.2mg/kg i/m Pantoprazole @ 1 mg /kg i/v XLPLEX FORTE @ 2ml i/m DNS @ 10ml/kg Body Weight MANAGEMENT Controlled activity Easily digestible liquid food 4 days Afterwards small amount of normal food suture removal 10th day
