Mystic Seaport Museum hired Ocean Technical Services to inspect the original spars of the sail training ship Joseph Conrad in 2007-2008 and recommend repairs. The repairs required removing the spars, which were completed. In 2009-2010, the ship was hauled out of the water at a new shipyard alongside another ship, and OTS inspected the hull and recommended shell plating repairs. The document includes photos showing details of the ship's masts, spars in a shed, the ship hauled out, and Joe Lombardi inspecting the hull.
