The survey gathered 128 responses regarding future use of vacant town channel land in Cobram. Most respondents supported walking/cycling tracks, parklands or playground areas on the land between Karook and Wadeson Streets. There was also strong interest in retaining the land for community use. Respondents preferred open spaces, sport field expansion and preschool use for the showgrounds area along Punt Road. Suggestions were made for the next survey regarding the old railway land, using the whole town channel for a green area, and banning unleashed dogs from public tracks.
