Four feet of space around the center island allows for easy maneuverability and access. Loop hardware was chosen for easy access to items along with lazy-susans in corner cabinets. The microwave, also a convection oven, is located at an easy to reach height near a transfer surface. The induction cook top uses pan sensor technology, only heating the pot. If there is a dry boil the stove will turn off.
