Symantec NetBackup is certified to back up SAP HANA, an in-memory database that processes data much faster than traditional databases. NetBackup provides application-consistent backups, media management, load balancing, and disaster recovery for SAP HANA. It benefits SAP HANA with live streaming backups, deduplication to reduce storage needs, and point-in-time recovery unavailable through disaster recovery alone. NetBackup supports backup of SAP HANA versions on certified hardware from vendors like Fujitsu and HP.
