Plastic pollution from stormwater is a problem in Tacony Creek Park in Philadelphia. A walk along a 95 foot section of the park found 155 pieces of litter. Trash from an unpaved drainage channel empties directly into Tacony Creek without passing through a trash trap. Plastic bottles and other debris were found along the banks and in the waters of Tacony Creek in various locations within the park.
