Tagetik CPM is a unified infrastructure with a single data form. It provides built-in ‘accounting-based’ processes
and functionality, structured in a specific workflow framework. These can be configured and adapted for
organisations in any line of business, without the need for writing new code.
These built-in processes use the same database and can be utilised in different applications (for example, data
gathering is used in both budget and consolidation), enabling companies to manage different application
processes within a single solution.
Tagetik CPM is a web-based application developed in Java (J2EE compliant) and based on a service oriented
architecture (SOA). It is therefore cross-platform, supporting all leading relational databases.
Its web-based platform can be accessed using a web browser supporting Adobe Flash Player (such as Internet
Explorer) and/or Microsoft Excel. This open architecture supports the investment made in existing IT
infrastructure, integrating data originating from any ERP, data warehouse or reporting system.
