The tamaraw population has drastically declined to less than 500 due to human disruption, which is considered the main threat. They are classified as critically endangered because of their low numbers. While cattle ranching previously impacted tamaraws, human activity like hunting remains the primary reason for their decreasing wild population, threatening their long-term survival if not addressed.
2. Tamaraws population drastically down
to its alarming number of population
and the cause to this problem is mainly
human being irresponsible
3. The tamaraws are considered as critically endangered
by International Union for the Conservation
Of Nature (IUCN) because less than 500 heads are seen
(Lim , 2010, p.50).
Boyles noted that human disruption remains number one
threat to tamaraws (as cited in Alave, 2011, p.3).
T.David also stated that , before, it was cattle ranching
that affected the tamaraws (personal communication,
November 9, 2011).
4. As T.David stated, Minodore単os are not only the ones who
are responsible for taking care of this animal (personal
communication
, November 9 , 2011).
If ever something will happen in the wild, they have stocks
left due to continuos decrease of tamaraw population in
the wild
(personal communication, November 9, 2011).
5. Indeed, harmful human activity is the one to blame for the
loss of the tamaraws.
The researchers recommended the further study to be
broaden, and set no limitations in the study to give more
public awareness
