Taizong ruled China as the second emperor of the Tang Dynasty from 626 to 649. He played a role in defeating the Sui Empire's troops and helping his family take power. As emperor, he expanded the Tang Empire through military victories and established a prosperous economy through infrastructure improvements and increased trade along the Silk Road.

3. BEFORE I DEPOSED MY FATHER TO
BECOME AN EMPEROR, I PLAYED A ROLE

HANDLING WEAPONS ; I WAS A GOOD
FIGHTER IN BATTLE.
4. THE TANG EMPIRE INHERITED THE
INFRASTRUCTURE ,WHICH WAS
DEVELOPED BY THE SUI RULERS, AND
ONCE THE CONFLICTS IN THE EMPIRE
WERE SETTLED, THE ECONOMY
STARTED TO FLOURISH.
5. UNDER MY RULE, THE TANG EMPIRE
EXPANDED AND PROSPERED. THE
LARGE GRAND CANAL SYSTEM MADE
TRANSPORTATION BETWEEN NORTHERN
AND SOUTHERN AREAS MORE
ECONOMICAL SO PRODUCTS WERE
TRANSPORTED MORE EASILY AND
CHEAPLY.
6. TRADE, BY THE SILK ROAD, WITH WESTERN AREAS
INCREASED AS MY ARMIES DEFEATED PEOPLE IN THE
NORTHWEST. THIS TRADE PROSPERED THE TANG
ECONOMY, AND THE CULTURAL AND RELIGIOUS
INFLUENCES CHANGED THE CULTURE.
7. THERE WERE OTHER EMPIRE CALLED TIBET,
WHICH HAD A THREAT ON MY EMPIRE.
