Fran finds old family photos and shows them to Mark. They see photos of Fran's sister Laura with their uncle Biff, Fran's grandfather Walt when he was young with who they think is Walt's sister Alice, and a baby photo of Fran with her cousin Shirley. Fran explains that Shirley now lives in France with her new husband Marcel.
Cindy's father receives four phone calls from people looking for Cindy. For each call, he politely takes a message when Cindy is not available - from Bob Jackson with his phone number, Nancy with her number, Brian Kennedy who spells his full name, and finally Cindy's teacher Ms. Wilson who says she will call back.
