These rubrics isolate specific criteria such as "task completion" and unwrap that criteria so that the world language instructor can focus students' attention on how to improve their performances in specific areas. These are for use evaluating daily practice and not for use on formal / summative assessments. They are excellent tools for training students what your expectations are in a world language class.

- 1. Based on Plano ISD LOTE Rubrics Appropriate only for daily formative assessments and/or practices. NOT for formal assessment use.
- 2. Read the assignment directions again. For each item on the assignment use Spanish 100% of the time? YES = 1pt NO = 0 pts include ALL required parts in your answer? YES = 1pt NO = 0 pts use details & elaboration? YES = 1pt NO = 0 pts use topic appropriate vocabulary? YES = 1pt NO = 0 pts use topic appropriate structures?
