DePauw University was where the author learned critical thinking, hard work, and a love of learning, and also met their partner Matthew Brauer. They are currently earning their M.Ed. at Loyola University Chicago, and work in the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life at Northwestern University. The author finds their work with students rewarding and feels called to advocate as an ally for the LGBTQAAI community both personally and professionally.

Some of the students I get to work with! They are truly what remind me why I want to go into student affairs!
One of the things that is most important to me personally and professionally- Being an ally to the LGBTQAAI community.
One of the most formative and impactful experiential learning experiences was the time I spent living abroad and interning in Paris France.
My partner and husband, Matt Brauer! Thanks for all your love
And of course, my cats! Dr. Watson and Fitzgerald whose purrs and claws always make sure I get out of bed in the morning!
