Basing from the table above presented the different themes that were captured based on their
learning experiences in the use of the modular distance learning. The following themes were
been presented as follows:
a. Personal aspects related to studying. Some of the students are in part time job like
masonry and feeling family commitments that is wh y some are delayed in
submitting their answer sheet.
Some participants expressed that Nagtratrabaho kase ako, pero kahit
papano ang aralin ditto ay nasusundan ko.
Others also mentioned that they feel alone, I feel alone learning, missed
the face-to- face, at least dito may pwede ako pagtanungan na klasmayt kung di ko
maget.
b. Use of delivery and technology course delivery resources. Experiences and age
factor was considered in managing technology. Few of the participants showed
confidence and ability to study and use of technology based resources such internet,
goggle meet to name a few, However, majority of the students recent experience with
technology show less confidence.
Some of them expressed that Di ako makagamit ng teknolohiya dahil kulang ang aking
kaalaman. However, some mentioned that Ang pagnuod ko sa Deped Youtube and
Deped Commons , ay malaking tulong para maintindihan ko ang lessons, kase
napapanuod ko at download ko gamit ang cellphone ko.
c. Teacher support. The constant update of the teacher in the different chatbox or
messenger greatly helps in learning the modules. The teacher facilitates questions for
discussions in the messenger as well as monitor problems encountered in answering the
module.
Some mentioned that Si sir ay lageng ngpopost ng tanung related to the lesson, at
ngkakaroon kami ng discussion and collaboration as a group.
Others even mentioned that that and quote always doing sample polls in the group
messenger, one way of checking our attendance.. While in remote areas mobile
attendance by sending text message for their answer towards the poll.
Parent support. The parent is the center of learning in the new normal. They do the
support the teachers in facilitating learning by monitoring the progress of the students
in answering their modules.
Some students mentioned and quote Salamat kay nanay na isang teacher, kase sya
na tumutulong sa akin para masagot ang ibang Gawain na di ko magawa o
masagutan.
SLM or LAS content. The modules provided in the lesson help the students clearly
understand the content with provided activities that are timely and relevant. The lesson
is well explained and facilitates learning independently.
Suggestion. Based on the table, the leaners provided suggestions to be carried out to
address the factors or gaps in the use of modular distance learning.
Conclusion
In the identifying the efficiency of the utilized intervention towards its implication in the
achievement, mastery and learning experiences of grade 12 students. In the light of foregoing
findings, it can be concluded that:
1. The achievement level of the grade 12 learners on practical research 2 showed proficient level.
This further implies that the students had gained mastery in their previous practical research 1.
However, the respondent achievement in determining variables and its uses showed basic
achievement. This denotes that respondents have difficulty in determining variables and its
application in the context of determining problems.
2. The utilization of the intervention showed efficiency towards the mastery of the
learner. Prior to the conduct of the intervention, the learners cannot display mastery with
the presence of the teacher in explaining the nature and kinds of variables and its uses.
However, a significant change in the mastery of the students after the conduct of the
intervention in which the students exceed expectation and mastery in the derived
competencies under study.
3. The efficiency of the intervention improved the mastery of the students in which the teacher
and learner communicate to progress their learning.
4. Among the learning experiences of the students denotes a positive or negative impact
towards measuring the efficacy of the intervention used. Among the positive impact showed
teacher and parent support, SLM or LAS content while the negative impact was based on the
personal aspect related to learning and suggestive aspect of learning. The learning
experiences of the students on the use of the intervention have significant contribution on the
improvement of the mastery of the students in the learning competency understudy
 Recommendation
The study further recommends on the following:
 1. Based on the achievement of the students showed a significant proficiency on the
subject areas of practical research. It further suggest that a revisit of the formative
assessment provided in determining variables and its uses should be clearly revised
and provide assessment that may help the learners easily determine variables and its
uses. .
 2. The utilization of the intervention with facilitated teacher online teaching must be
strengthened and recommend further to look into other utilization of the material using
two groups to further study its efficiency in improving mastery of the students.
3. The efficiency of the intervention shown significant change in the mastery thus further
recommend to utilize further said modular distance learning towards completion of the
learning competencies in practical research 1 to see the effect on other learning
competencies
4. The identified learning experiences of the learners should be address to help ease
academic gap by devising plan of action to address the identified factors.
