This document discusses using a concept diagram to teach students about quality of life, which they can refer back to in their analysis of fieldwork and research data. The model breaks quality of life into four aspects and also helps students identify parts of settlements and human processes influencing variations in quality of life. Finally, the model assists students in understanding the concepts of gentrification and suburbanisation.
