relationship-based mentor to educators worldwide. Shes on
EDMedia executive committee. Nellie has been teaching
English in high school and at the college level for over 35
years and integrating technology into face-to-face programs
since 1992. She organizes free online events such as
Moodle & Second Life MOOCs, online conferences
(Connecting Online and Moodle MOOTs), Blog Festivals,
EFLtalks for free. She is passionate about using
technologies such as Moodle, WizIQ, PresentMe,

promote active learning and teaching as a way to learn.

4. Judy Wong is a performing artist, a visual artist, a writer and foremost
an English teacher to speakers of other languages. Her extensive
background, spanning over fifty years, in the arts is the basis of her
unique teaching style. She is currently an Adjunct Faculty at a PACE
University in New York City, USA. When she isnt teaching at the
colleges, she has an active private student practice and has been
known to occasionally collaborate with her international colleagues in
Armenia and Croatia. She is an active EFLtalker and on the Advisory
Board of EFLtalks. Judy holds a BS in Liberal Arts /Teaching
Academics through the Arts and a MA in TESOL from the New School
University in NYC, USA. She is a member of NYS TESOL, TESOL
International and IATEFL.

As she continues in her 40+ years in education, Sheryl
McCoy counts on sharing her understanding that,
Learning is an adventure for life. To earn that
understanding, she teaches online and face-to-face,
through a fusion of teaching tools, skills, and interests.
Sheryl earned a BSEd in Elem Ed, as well as an MSEd
in Curriculum and Instruction in Science Ed at PittState
University, Pittsburg, Kansas.
Today, Sheryl lives with her family on their sustainable
farm in the Central Plains of the United States where
she works face to face and online with various informal
education networks.
7. Charles Goodger Originally from London, I am the
founder of FunSongs Education and am an English
teacher, coursebook writer, teacher trainer,
composer and entrepreneur. I have a degree in
French and Spanish from London University and a
RSA TEFL certificate. As well as writing material for
FunSongs, I have permanent tenure as a
Collaboratore Esperto Linguistico at Bologna
University in Italy. I have been a plenary speaker at
international ELT conferences and held workshops
and seminars in China, India, Lithuania, Russia,
Latvia, France, Germany, Italy, Estonia, Israel, Spain
and England. I currently live in Italy.

8. Julie Pratten is originally from the UK, currently living in Turkey. After teaching
both business and general English in 20 countries or more, including Brazil,
Germany, Lithuania and Paraguay, she entered the world of finance via the
Czech Republic, where she designed Banking English courses for the Czech
National Bank. She is the author of several business and finance titles,
including Absolute Financial English, Absolute Financial English (Delta) and
Pocket Book of Business English. Her interests include developing mobile
applications for EAP; last year she developed Brighton Study Kit and
Academic Flip Words. She also set up the Indie publishing company
Academic Study Kit and was joint winner of the David Riley award for
Innovation with AZ of Business English. The same year, Julie established
Heart ELT, a non-profit organisation that supports children who have little or no
access to education by producing crowdsourced books. Heart ELTs first
publication Hope Peace Respect by Fluency MC contains the lyrics to Jason
R.Levines amazing rap songs. Nowadays Julie is working on The Mission
Possible, a modular, crowdsourced course that focuses on sustainable
business. Julie is currently trying to get to grips with online courses, writing
teacher-to-writer programs and planning writer retreats for ELT. She is very
excited about writing her first story book, called The Peace Plan with Julia G.
Fox of Clever Fox Press.
