What is a competency?
A competency is defined as a capability or ability.
 At the 2nd APEC Education Reform Syposium in
 Xi'an, China, 21st Century Competencies were
  defined as the knowledge, skills and attitudes
   necessary to be competitive in real life and
                   workforce.
Developing 21st Century Competencies:
      An International Concern
International commission on Education for the
21st Century developed 4 pillars:
? 1) Learning to do
? 2) Learning to know
? 3) Learning to be
? 4) Learning to live
     together
